JustSimple Expense ("we", "our", "us"), hosted at expense.justsimple.in, is committed to safeguarding your financial privacy. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, store, and protect your personal financial records.

2. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name, email address, password hash (encrypted using bcrypt), and profile avatar.
• Financial Data: Transactions, account names, category choices, budget limits, and financial duty records that you explicitly input.
• Authentication Data: OAuth tokens and session cookies managed through secure NextAuth protocols.

3. Shared Workspace Privacy Isolation

We treat workspace isolation as a fundamental architectural guarantee. When you join a shared workspace, other members can only view data created specifically in that workspace. Your personal workspace, private accounts, and non-shared transactions remain entirely inaccessible to other users.

4. Third-Party Services

We use MongoDB Atlas for encrypted persistent storage, Resend for transactional emails (welcome, verification, bill reminders), and Google OAuth for optional single sign-on. We never sell your personal data or share your finances with advertisers or credit bureaus.

5. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You maintain total ownership of your data. You can delete your account and personal financial history permanently at any time from your Settings page.
